Supply Teacher

Location: Bolton

Pay: £140 – £180 (Regular pay reviews)

Together Teaching are looking for Supply Teachers across the Manchester Area in both Primary and Secondary schools to cover day to day sickness and short term assignments. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of different schools, staff and children, whilst getting to teach a range of subjects. On a day to day basis you will be teaching work left for you to the children, ensuring that they level of education is not affected by the usual teachers absence. You will be responsible for leading lessons, cover across a range of subjects, but you are not expected to be a specialist in these! This role is full-time (8:30am-4pm) but you can work as many days as you like, whether that is 1 day a week or 5 days a week it is entirely up to you. This is a chance to help children flourish even when the teacher is absent. The pay rate for this role is between £140 – £180 but with regular performance reviews to reward you for the good work you do.

What you will need to succeed:

You will be willing to get stuck in and have a desire to really make a difference to children’s lives. You will be adaptable and calm under pressure as you will be going into many different environments and you must be able to change your techniques based on this.
